Stop Motion clip: Converse Chucks replace Skateboard

I’ve just stumbled upon this video showing a guy riding his Converse Chucks. It’s a stop motion video made by Vivien Weyrauch and Fabian Röttger (a nice idea everyday) together with Tobias Röttger 2006. The clip shows the guy sneaking trough the city doing flips and slides, nothing special yet but he’s doing it on his Converse Chucks. Pretty cool clip. Watch it here.

    This commercial is either a total rip-off of this stop motion film http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmkLlVzUBn4

    … or the same guy created it.

    It strikes me as quite odd that there is absolutely no mention of the video creator or agency on the official website or next to the YouTube video. Only the two sound and music composers / producers.
