Weisse Arena Gruppe, Laax

The architecture of the Riders Palace in Laax,Switzerland has clear lines implementing fair-faced concrete, wood, and glass. The interiors feature state-of-the-art technology with light installations creating an impressive atmosphere. It’s situated right to the base station in Laax. Built in 2001 by architect René Meierhofer the hotel, especially popular with young Freestylers, has 278 beds , 30 Multimedia Rooms , 36 Back-to-Basic rooms and 4 Multimedia Suites.

Back-to-Basic rooms have 4-5 bunk beds and are ideal for groups with a lower budget. The Multimedia rooms have the same size (20 m²) but are ment to be for 2-3 persons and are defintely more down-day friendly, with the Reycom Media Center, LCD Full HD Monitor and the XBox 360. Our favourite choice of course is the Multimedia Suite. The Multimedia Suite has 40m² for 2 people, a 200 x 200cm double bed and the WC/bath/douche has been designed by Philippe Starck. For the riding geeks the Suite fetaures the Reycom Media Center, a 40″ LCD Full HD  Display, a XBox 360 with a Dolby Digital Surround  Soundsystem. The room has a special designed Lightining system from Zumtobel with individually adjustable colours.

And just in case you’ve played enough Xbox and need to party? You’re already in the place to be. The Lobby is the Bar, is the Dancefloor, is…just cool. There have already been some enormous parties been celebrated. Give yourself an impression and watch the Bonus of Isenseven’s Teenage Love Graffiti. Or just chill there use the free Wlan or make friends with the guys you’ve been shredding in the park all day long.
