UPDATET: Adidas ‘Diagonal’ World Premiere – Review (Busenitz Part)

adidas_front

The Adidas Worldpremiere of the European Team Video ‘Diagonal’ took place in Stuttgart, Germany. The decision to have it there is justified by having filmed lots of shots in that rising skate city and it’s Lem’s hometown.  A pre-party was held in the Skateboard Museum where a pretty nice bowl session was going on. After that, the party crowd went to the rented cinema including all the riders. After having seen the riders list, expectations were pretty high. And yes, the video delivered all expectations even more than that. Lot’s of uhhs, ahhhs and yeahhs by the crowd. I won’t go too much into detail here, you’ve got to watch it on your own… The riding is a blast and the filmers did a good job, too. They came up with some really powerfull and technicall lines and the computer animated rider intros are well integrated and pretty detailed. Global team rider Lem Villemin’s last part rounds the whole thing up. He’s got plenty of shots and does all his tricks with his smooth style. No matter how hard and/or technicall they are, from handrails to scarry stairsets. All in all the ‘Diagonal’ video is definitely a must see. It makes you wanna go out and have as much fun as they had filming the two years across the globe. A trailer will be available after the premiere tour. Check out the following stops here.
