This exclusive preview shows an updated classic, the New Balance 574 Location, will be stocked only by a select group of retailers. Each 574 LOCATION retailer will be thoroughly vetted and trained by New Balance. They will be entitled to display the 574 LOCATION insignia and receive limited edition product. And, most importantly, they will be New Balance’s exclusive partners in retailing the 574.The New Balance 574 features an Encap midsole constructed of polyurethane that provides maximum stability and durability for all day comfort and wear, a full strobel-lasted footbed and lowered EVA and rubber durometers yielding added shoe flexibility and a softer all-over feel, a layer of Abzorb for maximum cushioning, high density PU foam sockliner resulting in more effective moisture management and an overall decrease in total weight.
The 574 collection for fall be offered in four classic colorways, including: grey, grey/navy, navy, and black/grey. Several additional seasonal colorways will be introduced in limited quantities every two months (beginning in July 2009 with Burgnudy and Brown) through December.
