The iPhone App Toy Series consists of four different apps developed by Takayuki Fukatsu. The QuadCamera, the ToyCamera, the OldCamera and the latest one is the TiltShiftGenerator. We’ve already showed you the possibilities of the QuadCamera, an App that lets you take from 4 up to 8 pictures in one and on top offers a function that lets the taken pictures look like old school Lomo shots. The ToyCamera is pretty simple yet fun. You only have to take a picture and let ToyCamera apply effects chosen from your custom effect list et voila you got some real plastic lense film looking like images. Old Camera is the limited version of Toy Camera. Whenever you take a photo with this app, you can get old black and white picture. The TiltShiftGenerator App will allow you to create retro miniature pictures. By adjusting various parameters, it allows you to apply many ToyCamera effects on your pictures: from miniature pictures to vintage styles images. Originally, it’s been published as a free web service and AIR app.
There are also two online services. As mentioned above the TiltShiftGenerator online (which is an awesome tool for non iPhone users) just upload your image, tweak around the adjustments and save your tilt shift images. The second is an extension for the QuadCamera, the QuadAnimator converts your images to animated gifs.
