Dragon Alliance ‘Time Machine’ Campaign
Dragon Alliance’s latest campaign is defintely inspired by surrealism. Every single ad features a unique mash up that represents both the rider and of course the product itself. All the collages are very detailed and there are lots of little things to discover after looking at them for a while. Dragon once again shows how important the influence of art is to their product line.
Beautiful Timelapse – Auroras in Norway
This great Timelaps Video was shot by Terje Nesthus in 2009. All the footage is from Norway and was shot with two DSLRs a Canon 350D and a 40D. Terje made about 50 000 pictures of the aurora with exposure times up to 13 sec. You can guess how much time he spent freezing in the cold wind. Nevertheless the work pays out and we’re able to see such a great work and moodful shots of the Aurora season 08/09. If you want to learn more about Auroras read this detailed Wikipedia article.
Jackson Pollock – Creative Iphone App
“Paul Jackson Pollock (January 28, 1912 – August 11, 1956) was an influential American painter and a major figure in the abstract expressionist movement.”
And now has his own iPhone app. The iPhone app is an adaptation of Miltos Manetas’s website jacksonpollock.org. Try it on your own and create paintings that look like Jackson Pollock’s , with simply moving your mouse like crazy. There’s even a little contest going on. Save your best pictures send them to jackson@jacksonpollock.org and maybe yours will be published in an upcoming book.
Designer Swine Flu Surgical Mask Collection
I’ve been thinking about to bring something about the Swine Flu or just let it be and I think the Media talks enough about it. I really take it serious. A great and very moodful stop motion clip by Mothlight Creative. The still images are shot with a Rebel SLR. It’s definitely worth a look. I-Movix SprintCam – High Speed Slow Motion
We all have seen slow mo shots before. But this on is very special to me. The objects and the style it’s filmed really speak to me. It’s great to see all these little details happening around us all the time. The Video has been shot at the the Stade de France, during a rugby competition, by David Coiffier at 1000 images/seconds. Converse Bump Ad Pillar – nice Artwork
