Today we feature an extraordinary french Skate, Snow, Surf, BMX and Culture Magazine. The Desillusion Magazine. Even the covers are outstanding through their complex making. The issue no 20 comes with a lenticular cover! The content of the mag is a nice mixture of those beloved sports and cultures mentioned above with interviews, portfolios and some looks on cool buyables like CD’s, games or DVD’s. The whole graphic design is pretty simple and clean the imagery picked by Desillusion differs from the rest and is a pleasure to have a look at. The latest issue features a Portfolio of Roberto Alegria (highly recommendable), Interviews with Danny Larsen, Trouble Andrew and Absinthe Films’ Justin Hostynek.

Green Label Art, Volume III will extend beyond store shelves and come to life through a two-week exhibit in NYC starting with an opening night reception in early September. The gallery will be open to the public, host artist meet-and-greets and showcase the Green Label Art creations and other works. All six bottles will be sold at the gallery, with proceeds donated to a non-profit organization that supports the arts.

As a complement to the bottles, Green Label Art, Volume III has incorporated elements from each artist’s design into gear from WeSC, Adidas, Zoo York, Burton Snowboards, G-Shock and New Era. These collaborative products will only be available through an under-the-cap sweepstakes on Green Label Art bottles and specially marked 20-oz bottles of Mountain Dew. Thousands of prizes will be awarded throughout the eight-week promotion which kicks off on Labor Day. The L-R-G x Oakley A Frame Purple goggle features L-R-G Interlocking Trees all-over printed on the frame and the L-R-G logo is laser-engraved on the lower corner of the Black Iridium® lens. The L-R-G x Oakley A Frame Black goggle gets a mirror polished black frame finish combined with a special Gold Iridium® lens, featuring an innovative etching technique that adds the L-R-G landscape detail across the entire lower edge of the lens. This model will also include an additional replacement lens with the smaller L-R-G logo laser-engraved in lower corner. About graphic designer Peter Nitsch:

Peter has been working for years as an independent designer. His work has been in the area of Print and On AirDesign for clients such as Universal Studios, ProSieben, 13th Street, SciFi Channel and United Nations. He received a lot of honours in International competitions (New York Festival, BDA …) for outstanding Design. He is also among the advanced representatives of documentary photographic art in Germany. His works have been multiply distinguished, among others with the bronze medal of the renowned Los Angeles International Photography Award and as a Hasselblad Masters semifinalist. Nitsch lives and works in Munich and Bangkok. The cultural process of upheaval in Southeast Asia and especially the conflict between Thai identity and the globalised living conditions in the region are focuses of his photographic work.

German Kapitonov created the Photoshop Notebooks inspired by the idea of having an Undo function when actually drawing on real papers. The notebooks come with a cover featuring the Adobe Photoshop CS 3 icon, as well as the Illustrator or Dreamweaver one. That definitely grabs some attention but the coolest thing might be that the paper has the applications’ interface pre printed with all the tools and single windows.
