1987′s Keith Haring Skateboard Deck for $16,000
Pop artist Keith Haring tagged his signature character on a skate deck in 1987. The deck is a simple good wood old school deck. Keith’s art shows his character doing a trick over a person laying on the ground. Nowadays such a deck sells for 16.250$ at Phillips de Pury.

New Proof Trailer – Chaz Ortiz
Another banging Trailer. This time it’s 14 year old DC am squad rider Chaz Ortiz. The trailer itself is for the Proof movie. Chaz just recently joined the DC team and already made the 3rd place at the Tampa Pro. He will have his first video part ever featured in Proof. The Proof DVD is set to release on May 1st. Rocksmith Limited Edition Boombox Skate Deck in Woofin’ June 09
This is the Rocksmith’s limited edition Boombox Skate Deck, which is going to be featured in the June issue of Japanese street culture magazine Woofin’. DC Fantasies Run Deep Tour presented by Street Dreams
Sounds like a busy May for Rob Dyrdek. Rob will cross the U.S. for his DC Fantasies Run Deep Tour presented by Street Dreams. Starting on May 16th the tour will visit retail stops for autograph signings and screenings. In advance of the film’s theatrical release on June 12th, Mr. Dyrdek will screen Street Dreams to limited audiences during the DC Fantasies Run Deep Tour. Nike SB Debacle Trailer
Nike has just released their Trailer for the upcoming Nike SB HD video project. Premiere will be on 10th of June in L.A. The movie will feature Nike team riders like David Clark, Daryl Angel, Grant Taylor, Shane O’Neill, and Justin Brock. The trailer is quite promising very nice HD shots on unique spots.

Nick Dompierre has joined the DC Shoes team and now has his own team page, including a Bio and a nice little interview. Nick had his breaktrough in 2006 with two covers (Thrasher and Slap), a part in the Real video, contest successes, and a TWS nomination for Street Skater of the Year. Gravis has teamed up togehther with Dylan Rieder to create a very clean looking signature series. They worked on a Dylan and the Dylan Mid LX and used premium leathers. For me the sneakers may have their roots in skateboarding but are definitely more on the fashion side. The Gravis Dylan and the Gravis Dylan Mid LX are set to be released in May 09.
